Mark Van Pelt

President

Mark Van Pelt brings more than 30 years of Construction Management experience to the team. Trained over a lifetime, he learned the business of construction from his father, a founder of Lathrop Construction. Mark has participated in all aspects of Construction Project Management, including bidding, estimating, scheduling, contract negotiations, personnel management, labor relations, subcontractor coordination, field coordination and contract administration. Additionally, Mark has extensive experience in all aspects of institutional program and construction management including: Masterplanning, Programing and Design Management. His background in general contracting paired with 15 years of experience in owner's representation brings a wealth of experience to any project team. His comprehensive management of the Healdsburg Unified School District's Bond Programs was instrumental to the District's great success with projects ranging from athletic field upgrades to all new school campuses. In a small district with a strict budget; Mark was able to wear many hats within his management duties including presenting at user group meetings, Architect selection, document distribution, Change Order review, as well as managing multiple-prime fast track projects.
